Glow & UV Tattoos

These get sold interchangeably and they are not the same thing at all. A glow-in-the-dark tattoo contains a phosphorescent pigment: it absorbs light, then releases it slowly, so it glows in a dark room for a while after being charged and then fades.

A UV-reactive tattoo does nothing in the dark. It is nearly invisible in daylight and fluoresces brightly under a blacklight, which is why it belongs at a club night or a UV-lit event and nowhere else.

If your venue has no blacklight, buy glow. If your venue is UV-lit, buy UV — a glow tattoo under a blacklight is unimpressive. We ask about the lighting before quoting, because the wrong one of these is a completely wasted order.
